There’s no fixed response time to promise, and no ticket number or live chat — email is read and handled as it comes in. If your question is really “which pen should I buy?”, be aware that MechPen offers general tools and explanations rather than personalised recommendations, and it isn’t affiliated with any pen maker or retailer — but a clear note about what you’re trying to do is always welcome.

Before writing in about a tool result, it’s worth double-checking what you entered — the wrong unit (grams versus ounces, millilitres versus millimetres), a nib width that doesn’t match your pen, or a mistyped value is the most common source of a surprising answer. If it still looks off after that, that’s exactly the kind of message worth sending.
